The holidays are upon us! If you are looking for a quick and easy holiday dessert, look no farther. This simple puff pastry tart is not too sweet with just the right amount of holiday spirit.
This recipe is a jumping off point for me. I use this particular preparation of yams for SO MANY other dishes. It is the base that keeps on giving! I do make slight alterations sometimes to the sweetener, or other spices used, but, this basis is strong with the powers of flavor.
This is a great way to use up the leftover mashed potatoes from your Thanksgiving dinner, or a good little something to make and put in the freezer for those nights when you don't want to cook.
